Aanya Bhagrath

Aanya is a Master's student in the Physiology department. After joining the lab as an undergraduate in January 2019, she completed her Honours work in Microbiology & Immunology in May 2021. She now works on a project studying the relationship between aging and reduced immunity. She is assessing how the structure and composition of lymph node stromal networks changes with age, and how this may affect T cell effector responses and senescence. Outside of the lab, you can find her in the kitchen making pies, drinking endless amounts of espresso, or playing with her bunny, Litchi :).
