Aysha Cerf

Aysha is a third-year (U3) undergraduate student majoring in Quantitative Biology, interested in the dynamics of immune cell migration. As a Science Undergraduate Research Award (SURA) recipient, she will build on her previous summer work in the lab by generating time-lapse images of moving leukocytes in defined three-dimensional microenvironments to compare and quantify their migratory behaviour. Outside of the lab, she enjoys travelling, spending time in nature, and drinking matcha lattes at little cafes around Montréal. In true Mandl lab fashion, Aysha is also very much a cat person (although her landlord won’t - officially - let her have one)!
